African drumming classes at The Rhythm Studio in west London offer an introduction to djembe drumming and traditional West African rhythms.  Students will develop a command of different djembe drumming techniques, discover the meaning and language of the rhythms, learn improvisational skills and most importantly have fun in a relaxed but energising African drumming circle.  As well as our weekly classes, The Rhythm Studio also organises a regular program of special events, including jam session, performance opportunities and trips to concerts and festivals.
