The Rhythm Studio's band sessions are the driving force behind the vibrant atmosphere and great friendships that have developed at our school.  These sessions are the ultimate opportunity to meet like-minded musicians, form bands and play live gigs in London.

Rehearsals

Band sessions involve a weekly 60-minute or 90-minute each week at The Rhythm Studio with one of our inspirational band mentors.  Our band tutors are experienced multi-instrumentalists and are there to help guide the bands in their song choices and compositions, and help the band members master their parts.

Live Performance

Performing live is a cornerstone of the entire curriculum at The Rhythm Studio, and a very important part of our Band Sessions, with live shows scheduled each term. The gigs are not only great fun, but also help develop confidence and motivation amongst the band members.

Recording

As well as performing live, regular recording opportunities allow our bands to lay down demos in our recording studio. These recording sessions are also a great chance to get together some original material for entry into our Singles Chart. You can listen to the results of our most recent recording day below.

Experience Required

All instrumentalists are welcome at our band sessions, but you must have at least a year of experience on your instrument.
