The Rhythm Studio Foundation (registered charity number 1145472) works alongside The Rhythm Studio to fund music activities for children and young people in London.  We offer financial support for music projects based in and out of schools, providing young people with musical opportunities that would not otherwise be possible.

What does The Rhythm Studio Foundation aim to achieve?

We believe that everyone deserves to experience the excitement of learning an instrument, playing music with others, composing songs and performing live.  The Rhythm Studio Foundation aims to offer more young people the opportunity of music lessons by providing tuition bursaries for children whose families are not in a position to meet the full costs of tuition fees.  As well as helping with the costs of tuition, The Rhythm Studio Foundation provides exciting performance opportunities for children at local music venues, community events and festivals.

Middle Row School Workshops

The Foundation is currently funding a program of music workshops for the children in Year 6 at Middle Row School.  Each week the children from Middle Row visit The Rhythm Studio to take part in band workshops, learning to play drums or guitar and improving their singing skills, while preparing for a concert performance in front of family and peers at their school. 

Run To The Beat Half Marathon

On Sunday 25th September 2011 a team of The Rhythm Studio's teachers and parents ran the Run To The Beat half marathon in aid of The Rhythm Foundation's tuition bursary fund.  Thanks to the amazing support from all those connected to school, the team raised over £4000 for the Foundation.  This year an expanded team from The Rhythm Studio will be running the race.  If you would like to join the team let us know!
