One-to-one guitar lessons at The Rhythm Studio are available for both children and adults and we welcome students from beginner to advanced level. 

Beginner guitarists focus on the foundations of playing technique, chords and scales, jamming on their favourite songs and much more. Guitar lessons for more experienced players involve specialisation in styles and genres of particular interest, focusing on improving technique to advanced levels, and studying music theory and how it applies to their instrument.  Approaches to improvisation, reading, ear training, transcribing as well as studying the fretboard using CAGED, 3-note-per-string or 'drop' systems are also covered by The Rhythm Studio guitar teaching staff.

Learning to work with other musicians and explore the styles of music you enjoy are at the heart of The Rhythm Studio's approach to music education. Developing song-writing skills can be incorporated into your one-to-one instrumental studies, or alternatively you can join one of our small group Composition Classes. There are also regular opportunities for our students to perform live and we encourage all our musicians to join our flourishing band scene, either via our weekly Band Sessions or at Rock & Roll Boot Camp.
