Little Rhythm is an under fives class run by The Rhythm Studio that involves music-making, singing, dancing and lots of fun.  Little Rhythm teaches children to use their voices, bodies and instruments to experience the joys of rhythm in many different ways.  The children will also develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lives, including:

1. Listening - We help children to become skilled in focused listening and heighten their ability to concentrate even in the midst of distractions.

2. Moving - The chance to explore and express themselves creatively within a group and individually. There will be lots of dancing!

3. Singing - The opportunity to create music, which is unique to themselves. To learn to sing alone and as part of a group.

4. Rhythm - The chance to create and respond to music and rhythms using their voices, bodies and instruments.

All the above skills are interconnected, for example moving will often include rhythm and singing will include listening, but they are part of a holistic approach to give your child a well-rounded musical and social experience. We take the children through many exciting and imaginative themes in which a variety of musical rhythms will be explored. The use of stories, rhyme and sharing activities allow for many social skills to develop. All this is achieved whilst having the time of their lives making music together.

18 months and above | 10.15am-11am | Class Fee: £7

You are welcome to simply drop-in to Little Rhythm, but if you would like to book your place in advance and also ensure that we can keep you up to date about new classes and special events, complete this registration form.
