Matt has been drumming most of his life since hitting pots and pans from an early age.  On deciding to become a professional musician he attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford where he graduated in 2001.

Matt has extensive experience recording and touring. He has worked with many world class producers and recorded at some of the worlds best studios, he has played many top festivals including Glastonbury, and has been in the charts with his band Ok Tokyo. He also has supported many top 10 acts including Dizzee Rascal. His band have been awarded vinyl of the week in NME magazine along with many other great reviews from Radio 1 and other big radio and TV stations. 

At the moment Matt is busy writing songs and teaching, using his experience and knowledge to help to inspire people to play the drums.
