African Drumming and Latin Percussion classes at The Rhythm Studio take place 48 weeks a year, with a two-week break at the end of the Summer and a two-week break at Christmas.

Class Fees

Classes can be paid for on either a pay-as-you-go basis, £15 per class, or via a monthly membership of £45, which gives you four classes for the price of three.  

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I try out a class before joining?

You are more than welcome to come and try out a class, meet our percussion teacher and check out our studios.  You can then decide whether you would like to become a regular member of one of our classes. The fee for the trial class is the usual drop-in rate of £15. 

Do I need my own drum to attend the classes?

The Rhythm Studio provides drums at all our African drumming and Latin percussion classes and events, however, if you would like to bring your own drum you are more than welcome to do so.  If you'd like to order a drum for practise purposes, we have a selection of djembe drums for sale at the studio.  

How do I pay class fees?

Monthly class fees are due at the beginning of each month.  Pay-as-you-go class fees are payable at the beginning of each class.

What if I want to stop the classes?

You are free to terminate your classes at any time, however, please note that we are not able to refund monthly membership fees if you fail to attend the classes.

In some months there are only three classes and in other there are five.  Why is the monthly membership fee fixed at £45 each month?

The class fees are designed to spread the cost of the classes over the course of the year. On average there are four classes each month, although in some months you will find that there are five classes and in others only three.
