The Rhythm Studio's Pop & Rock Academy is a structured course for 12-18 year-olds that involves small group tuition for drums, guitar and vocals, alongside regular band workshops and live performance opportunities. Book your place at our Rock & Pop Academy Open Day on Sunday 23rd June 2013.

Choose to take a 60-minute small group lesson on either drums, guitar or vocals with one of our expert tutors each week.

Groups are put together according to age and experience, with students able to work through graded syllabus levels 1-3.

Every three weeks, join up with guitarists, drummers and singers from other groups to rehearse as a band.

Learn classic rock and pop songs from an enormous range of artists, from AC/DC to Rihanna, via Coldplay and Green Day.

Demonstrate new skills while performing with bandmates at top London venues in front of family and friends.

The end-of-term gig is great fun and is the culmination of all the hard work put in by pupils and teachers alike.

Each student's progress and development is carefully monitored by our tutors, with regular assessments taking place throughout the year.

Students are able to work through graded syllabus Levels 1, 2 & 3. Each level consists of three twelve-week modules.

On successful completion of a course, students are awarded a graded certificates (pass, merit   or distinction) and progress to the next level.
