Band Sessions & Production Sessions (8-11 yrs / 12-15 yrs)

The Rhythm Studio's week-long Rock & Roll Boot Camp offers the chance for young musicians and producers to experience a week in the music industry. The Band Sessions involve forming bands, learning classic covers, writing original material, recording in a professional studio and performing live at the end of the week. In the Production Sessions, young producers spend the week shooting band videos and interviews, editing the footage and composing original soundtracks, designing artwork and logos, and masterminding the live gig at the end of the week, including lighting, visuals, styling and band merchandise.

Timing & Fees

8-11 yrs: 9.30am-12pm Band Sessions, 1pm-3.30pm Production Sessions

12-15 yrs: 9.30am-12pm Production Sessions, 1pm-3.30pm Band Sessions

As well as working with our own team of inspirational teachers, the above courses often feature special guest tutors and one-off masterclasses. Previous visitors include Ralph Salmins (Madonna, Bjork, Van Morrison), Joe Clegg (Ellie Goulding), Nathan Curran (Lily Allen, Basement Jaxx) and Paul Stewart (The Feeling).
