RICH PATTERSON - DRUM KIT & PERCUSSION

Richard first began gigging in the Working Men's clubs of the North East aged 13. During his school years he learned his trade by playing with pit orchestras, touring in Europe with a youth big band and playing in original bands.

At eighteen he was offered a place at the prestigious Drumtech drum school in London where he studied with notable teachers Tom Meadows, Bosco De Olivera, Justin Scott and Paul Elliot. From there he went on to complete a degree at the London College of Music and is now graduated and working as a freelance drummer and teacher.

Richard teaches in five schools as well as privately. He is kept busy with two highly regarded London function bands and recently completed a very successful season of gigs in the French Alps. Richard also is involved with a number of original bands and artists and is currently busy live and in the studio with indie act The Ryes.
