The Rhythm Studio's after-school drumming club is the perfect start for any aspiring drummer. between the age 5 and 7. These workshops offer an introduction to a range of percussion instruments from around the world and your first taste of the drum kit.  Sessions are interactive, educational, and based around fun activities designed to develop rhythm, coordination and musical appreciation.  Drum club is suitable beginners with little or no previous experience.

Course activities include:

• Creating rhythms using body percussion.

• Interactive games involving call and response activities to develop rhythms.

• Learning about the history and origins of a wide range of instruments.

• Learning techniques to play a wide-range of instruments from around the world.
  

• Learning basic rhythms in different styles.

• Preparing percussion pieces to be performed at our regular concerts for parents and friends
