Music Makes Me

  • The Rhythm Studio Gliddon Road W14 9BL United Kingdom (map)

The Rhythm Studio is thrilled to be partnering with the Tri-borough Music Hub (TBMH), the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal College of Music in the production of Music Makes Me.

Music Makes Me is a new work by Emily Stratford and Gabriel Krchnavek and is a gateway into the world of music, regardless of who you are. The original songs, co-designed by young people with Special Education Needs, charts a day in the life of a neuro-divergent young person and shows how music helps her emotionally regulate, socially interact, and build her independence for adulthood.

This large-scale multi-school music education and performance programme brings together students and pupils of Hammersmith & Fulham; Kensington & Chelsea; and Westminster. Three students from The Rhythm Studio have been selected to take perform at the world premiere of Music Makes Me at the Royal Albert Hall on 27th June 2023.
