CHRIS HODGES

Chris is an accomplished session drummer, recording two studio albums with his own bands as well as touring supporting Ellie Goulding. He set up The Rhythm Studio in 2009  and continues to teach drums as well as overseeing the running of the school. In 2011 Chris founded The Rhythm Studio Foundation with the aim of widening access to the musical opportunities at the school.

JACK HORNERJack was the co-founder and executive creative director of pioneering music and culture creative agency FRUKT, now runs the DOT DOT DOT creative network. He has managed bands and played the drums badly. He wanted to help more kids feel the magic of jamming and collaborating that has given him so much.

Caroline has a background in fundraising for the arts and children’s charities, including the Young Vic theatre, the London Symphony Orchestra and children’s mental health charity Place2Be. She strongly believes that opportunities in music should be accessible for all and not just those able to afford it. 

STEPHEN JENKINSStephen is the Founder & MD of Too Many Dreams, a strategic marketing, content and communications agency for creative and technology companies. He previously spent 13 years in the music industry, working for a variety of record labels, including EMI, Virgin, Wall of Sound and [PIAS] Entertainment. He is an avid record collector, former DJ and a bad golfer. He is also proficient at speaking about himself in the third person.

OLIVER FETIVEAUOliver is a Partner of London law firm, M Law, specialising in intellectual property rights, with clients in the world of entertainment and sport. Previously he worked in house for a music publisher.  He is a lifelong fan of Hull City, loves live music, and is a bad guitarist - and as anyone who attended an RSF fundraiser a few years ago will attest, an even worse beatboxer.

Jim started playing the guitar as a teenager and readily admits to an obsession with the blues, Southern rock, guitar-based jazz, and extended guitar solos. Most recently she was on GSK’s Corporate Reputation and Brand team, co-ordinating communications for the company’s partnerships with Save the Children, Comic Relief, Malaria No More and others. She is passionate about music, how it can transform and enhance life, and about helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds to receive the same opportunities as others.

JEROME LAKE

I am an Ex-Scholarship holder and a Product Executive at Schroders Investment Management. I have experienced first-hand the value of the Foundation and the opportunities it brings to children from disadvantaged backgrounds which is why I jumped at the prospect of becoming a young trustee.

SHAMIME IBRAHIMShamime held an RSF Scholarship between 2015- 2017. She is a professional beatboxer and music technology teacher with a keen interest in the genre of hip hop. At 18, Shamime performed with Jason Marx at the Hollywood bowl in Los Angeles to a crowd of 15,000+ people and has since been working on her own music. As an Undergrad at Oxford university, she is working to put out politically conscious music that resonates with disenfranchised young people.
