We are really proud to share this amazing film highlighting our RSF Scholarship student Asia who, with the support of The Rhythm Studio Foundation and her tutor Maja Slatinšek, alongside her own hard work, determination and talent, has taken her place studying a BA in Music at the pioneering Leeds Conservatoire.

It was amazing to see our RS students on stage at the Royal Albert Hall for the Future Makers competition! Cosima, Alex, Rubyrae, Magan and Artie all had incredible performances!
Congratulations to our sixth formers who performed at the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Royal Albert Hall. The students performed the 4th movement of A Circle Of Sound, an original composition by David Arnold (James Bond, Independence Day, Stargate) and were accompanied by an orchestra and joined onstage by the likes of Michael Sheen, Mel C, LionHeart, Jemma Redgrave, Professor Brian Cox and Helen Pankhurst.
It has been so helpful to have a place to perform, learn and develop my music and I have really benefited from the dedication of the teachers at The Rhythm Studio. Prior to joining the Rhythm Studio all of the playing and writing music that I did was solitary so The Rhythm studio has been such an important context for me to develop and receive feedback. Last term I made a video for one of my songs for The Rhythm Studio instagram which was a really great experience as I had never done this before and it was a really nice way of sharing and performing despite the inability to perform in person.
At the Bright Futures 2024 Fundraising gig, young, aspiring musicians were placed centre stage at the magnificent Bush Hall and given the opportunity to perform with our fantastic guest performers, including Nick Lowe, Hollie Cooke (singer/songwriter), Luke Allwood (Gentleman’s Dub Club) and Ben Martinez as well as RSF patrons Guy Chambers, acclaimed songwriter and award-winning designer Tom Dixon OBE.
This Easter Break saw three successful weeks of Rock & Roll Boot Camp take place at two different locations, culminating in terrific performances at iconic venues Pizza Express Live and Water Rats. Both new and familiar faces were seen at our first ever East London Rock & Roll Boot Camp which took place at Access Creative College’s state-of-the-art facilities in Whitechapel. A packed gig at the famous Water Rats in Kings Cross was a fitting finale to a wonderful week. We are excited for the summer run – have you signed up yet?
