Audition Registration - friday 2nd may

Sixth Formers are invited to audition for the opportunity to perform at an event on 5th June 2025. One act will be chosen following the audition. This is a high-profile event, so we will have extra guidelines around the audition process.

  • The audition will take place on-site at The Rhythm Studio on Friday 2nd May.

  • For the audition, each act should prepare a cover and an original song.

  • Due to the nature of the event, the genre of the performance needs to be Pop.

  • One application per student - you can only perform in one band or as a soloist.

  • This is an opportunity for students at The Rhythm Studio only.

  • Acts can sign up as a band or solo act for the audition process.

  • Should a solo act win the competition, we will help them put together a band of fellow students.

  • The maximum number of band members is 5.

  • The successful act will provide a 20 minute performance at the event on Thursday 5th June. The set will be a mixture of covers and originals.

  • By signing up, you are confirming that if selected, you will be available on Thursday 5th June and Friday 6th June, involving travel, a performance, and an overnight stay. You will also attend compulsory follow-up weekly rehearsals to be organised for you during the whole month of May.

  • Deadline to submit this form is Friday 25th April.
