Oscar began playing the guitar at the age of 6 having been heavily encouraged by his father, also a musician. The guitar quickly became the main focus of his time, much to the displeasure of his school teachers.  

Oscar has been playing in a range of bands and environments since the age of 13, playing at many prestigious venues and festivals. As well as his ongoing work as a touring and session guitarist, he is also a passionate and experienced teacher, beginning teaching the guitar at 17 years old. He teaches across all ages and abilities and has come to develop an adaptable and confident teaching style, which proves popular with his students.

Originally from a small countryside town in Wiltshire, he moved to London in 2014 to pursue music and since graduating from University, Oscar has continued to work as a freelance musician, guitarist and guitar teacher. He has worked in a range of areas such as touring in originals and function bands, musical theatre, studio sessions and dep work.

Oscar’s current gigging life consists of session work (Pixie Lott), playing with his folk band, Electric Eden and touring up and down the country with heavy rock act, Gallows Circus.
